When we moved from Arizona to Washington, we purchased a home with teeny cabinets...guess it was the norm for the 1920's as they didn't have so much STUFF!!
I have tried glass jars, tupperware containers, etc. nothing seemed to work & then I ran across this containers by Better Homes & Gardens with a rubber gasket and sealing lid that makes these perfect.
They are called Flip Tite and they all stack neatly on top of each other and trust me, being able to stack 3 containers in a space that once held only 1...I am in organizational heaven!
I read there are some people that dislike them due to the lids get water in them while in the dishwasher...so hand wash them so they aren't water logged. Myself, I haven't had any issues with washing them. As you can see, I like to know what is inside each one.
Well, with my propensity for falling and having surgeries at the drop of the hat, I think I also do it so hubs or whoever cooks knows what is inside each one. To me, the only thing better would be having a larger kitchen...so please pray for us that we get a home we have been looking at on a lease to own basis!
