As many of you know, I am technologically challenged but I am getting much better! I never did figure out how to line up all the blog buttons at the bottom of my blog all nice and neat.
However, I am tired of being forced into things the techo companies want us to do without asking, they just cram the changes down our throat. Soon, I will be forced to the new timeline on Facebook and I don't like it and refuse to be a part of it. Matter of fact, many people do not like it but Facebook doesn't care about its users (who by the way helped make FB what it is..) so I will be shutting down my account.
Now, it appears I am being force to change around my blog. The very same blog I have had since 2007 and like very much to follow the needs or whims of the blogger techies. If I continue, I am and you are even forced to use Google Chrome which causes issues with my computer.
So, I am asking those of you who have ran from blogger and have a dot com to please contact me so I can learn more about which one you use, how to get it set up and what you like or dislike about it.
Blogger doesn't care if i go and I know this because I have had an issue for several months and tried to contact them and they totally ignore me.
I am just frustrated that they make changes no one really wants and then we are forced into changing things because of them.

I don't know why they think the have to improve something that works just fine. I was totally comfortable with the way blogger was working and now they've gone and changed it all over again. Good luck! I hope you find out the information you are looking for.
I don't like the changes in Blogger either - and I am definitely a technology geek. I have found that when I upgraded my Internet Explorer to a newer version, then the new Blogger interface does seem to work OK. I do have Chrome downloaded, but don't like it.
Didn't like the new timeline in Facebook at first, but I've gotten used to it quickly. Since I usually use Facebook from the news feed, I don't have to look at my wall/timeline very often.
OH NO on shutting down your FB account. That is how I really keep up wiht you and I will miss you on there. I hate the timeline idea too and can't really figure it out. Women our age shouldn't be forced to challenge ourselves even more in the techno world hahaha.
