Sponge Baths, Walkers, Back Braces and Pain

I would like to introduce you all to my new best friend, the walker. I can't do anything without this companion by my side.

Then of course there is my back brace and once I forgot to put it on as I was walking to the bathroom, I can tell you, that I will NEVER do that again!

My husband has been amazing throughout all of this...he does the laundry, cleans house, bathes the children and washes my hair and gives me the best sponge bath ever!

My body is still wracked with pain and the back spasms right now for me are the worst. My body is fine one moment and jumping jumping and flopping the next.

I can't sit up for long periods of time and my eyes have difficulty focusing due to the drugs I am per Dr.

Today, we are supposed to walk 2 blocks 2 times, Sent me wonderful thoughts, this will be killer!

Make sure they have checked your potassium levels because that's what happened to me. Horrible back spasms and pain from them. They discovered my potassium was down and when they started treating that most of the spasms stopped. Be sure and walk like they tell you. That was the hardest thing for me to do but it also helped the most. I'm sending you strength, courage and determination cuz you'll need all three to make it on those walks.

Husbands are amazing. Mine did everything for me as well. I don't know what I would have done without him. I'm glad you found a good one too.

Thank you ladies for the wonderful thoughts, prayers and comments, I did walk today, once around the interior of the mall & have been down every since. I will conquer this and God and the angels will help!
