Yesterday the kids were in our annual Christmas church performance and it was just amazing!
Both of our church services were amazing yesterday and reaching out to others while at church I could feel the Holy Spirit!
Today, I went with the kids adopted grandma and we got the kids new shoes and something fun and then went to lunch at Dennys, it was just great to be able to sit down with an adult and have some conversation, but to sit down with a wonderful God filled Christian woman, was amazing!
We both agreed something needs to be done in the area of prayer at our church and want to have a group like the Yada Yada prayer group and I hope to be able to give comfort and reach out to women in our community who are lacking work. We all could use a job, but getting together and praying as women will give us hope!
I spoke with a young woman last evening who was released from her job two years ago and has not been able to get a job since. What was more upsetting was she hadn't had an interview since she lost her job! That blew me away! I came home and prayed for her situation and my own.
I didn't get the call today from Mason County, so I wasn't one of the top 3 candidates after the testing and I got another turn down from the Washington State Patrol where they received over 130 applications. I wasn't even chosen for an interview, but when you realize many jobs are now receiving over 100 applications, I guess I can't be upset.
I am also hoping to do a neighborhood prayer walk weekly and pray for those in my neighborhood, city and community! I can't wait! I can't walk far or on my own, but I can walk a bit and pray alot!
Oh Yeah! Bring 2010 on, I am looking forward to it with a smile on my face!

My sister has been laid off for a year and a half. She lives in WA state, Bainbridge Isl to be exact. She is thinking she might have to move back down here and live with my dad until she finds something. She is raising her son by herself. Sad. I know AZ has jobs, but who wants to live here! lol. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

I pray for you all the time, you know that...I know God has great things in store......I am so glad you had such a good day. I know things have been rough!
