Saving Money and Feeling Great!

I am always receiving these little gift bags in the mail for some promotion or another and I always save them for gifts down the line.

Today, this one was used along with a birthday card on hand and small gift we had on hand the girls decided to give to a friend for a birthday gift. All of these are brand new and didn't cost me a cent but will bless the receiver!

Today is my payday...not much, but every bit helps and after participating via a blessing in this past weeks Woman Inspired conference on organization and money saving tips, I learned so much that I went to Safeway to shop sales. I saved around $19.00 just on meats that will last all week and boy was I wishing I had coupons to use on a few other things they had on sale. My bills was $76.00 and change and I actually paid only $51.00 not a huge dent, but a large enough one for my challenged shopping.
If you want to save money, go to $5 dinners and learn how to shop and cook for a family of 4 for $5 per night. You can also check out a few of the new sites on my sidebar and I will add more as I learn more.
As my regulars know, my bathroom sink this past week sprung a leak somewhere. We went to Home Depot to pick up a new sink and a cabinet since our sink only has a pedestal and the floor behind it is slit for plumbing. UGLY!
The cabinet we decided on came with the sink for $39. The one we purchased for $49.50 came with the cabinet, sink, faucet set, towel bar, towel ring and TP holder. Now I don't know about ya'all, but I think I saved a good penney here!
Tomorrow I will be listing my giveaway and the details, but for now, here is a sneak peak at one of the items being given away!
