Field Trip

Yesterday I went on little mans field trip and really enjoyed myself. I am proud that I thought to pack his rain boots because the park we went to was floodled with puddles all over.

I caught him coming down the slide here and I love the look he is giving me, 'you have to be kidding, you want me to stop in the middle of my slide to take a picture?'

We rode up to Olympia about an hour away and they always stop at this park for lunch and time for the students to run some of that bus ride stored energy off.

The 5 students I had really surprised me as they ate their lunches completely and didn't toss them in the trash. These were some hungry students!

Remember all those puddles I was talking about? Here he is having just picked himself up out of one. He was not a very happy camper. I had just asked him to not go across the monkey bars in case he fell off into the puddle beneath...he did!

Here he is just a few short minutes later back on the toys, smiling and having a good time. His pride was hurt more than anything, but it didn't stop him from enjoying the rest of the day at the park.

From the park we went to he junior theater in Olympia and saw a wonderful science show that kept the kids laughing and occupied.

The show was called: Lets Go Science Show and you can see some of the things they do on line. I can say it kept over 200 school aged children very happy!
