Hippity Hoppity, This Bunny Is On Her Way...

I have been working on this little bunny girl for the last few days and just love the way she has come out. The pattern didn't call for anything in her basket, but I added some yellow flower buttons and 2 baby rabbit buttons and her basket looks perfect to be delivered!

Thanks to Dayna for sending me the wonderful new Singer machine at Christmas, this little girl, her whiskers and the matching eggs and decorations just got done lickity split!

I added some embellishments to the eggs and used purple backgrounds. Since we no longer have a fabric shop in our town, I used my pinking shears on ribbon to make my own rick rack.

What I really like is that I took everything out of my stash, I didn't have to run to the store for anything including the buttons.

Each time I run into Olym
pia, I stop by JoAnn's and pick up buttons, ribbon, etc.

I use decorative buttons on lots of my quilts, since I don't have a machine that does embroidery, I find buttons fill in nicely.

When it is completed, I will post a picture. I hope to make several....this one is going to one of my granddaughters that I never get to see and I miss her so much.

I want to make 2 for my Zibbet shop to sell and another one for another granddaughter. I will be a busy person over the next week or so, but does fill my hours when I am not looking for a job.
