One Down, Five To Go

I believe in reaching out to others, I just believe God has given me the talents He has to help where I can and not turn my back on people struggling and since beginning this blog, I have met so many wonderful people that have blessed me in my purpose.

I have recieved many wonderful things for my giveaways and diligently weekly, seek out those who know someone, a business or themselves who want to donate to my giveaways, I love handmade soaps!

I can't take credit for the front of this adorable infant/toddler quilt and I have to take it out quickly before our youngest granddaughter sees it since she just loves frogs.

Dayna over at Scottie Acres made these fronts and had no time to finish them so blessed me with them and though I do not know Dayna personally, she believes in me enough to entrust these adorable little guys to me and knows they will find a good home. (Correction, Dayna let me know she purchased these with the intention of finishing them, she didn't actually make them)! Thanks Dayna for keeping me honest!

I took them to our local quilt store and finished the back with a light lime green and pale yellow plaid childrens flannel and added a warm and natural batting to the middle. This one was finished off with knots in a light yellow.

It is done and I will be binding another one of Dayna's wonderful creations this evening (well, that is my goal) in the hopes to be able to send these off to a charity group on Alabama that is collecting them.

I am still in need of some flannel if anyone would like to donate 1.5 yard cuts, please let me know and I will let you know the colors I need. I have 3 more of these to finish and 2 to bind and off they go!

Do something special today and bless someone in need!

Jean - I did not make the tops. I purchased them at JoAnn's with the intention of finishing them off but don't have the time right now.

I agree, do something for someone else has often has you can. It will bless them, however it will bless you even more. I love your giving attitude. Hugs
