Oh My, Thank you Melinda!

I wasn't going to post before the New Year, however Melinda over at Melinda's Fabric Fancies has given me a beautiful award and I am very humbled by it. When I started by blog, I never thought I would have the traffic I do, let alone meet some of the most wonderful and creative women that I have met, starting with Melinda.

Here is how the award works and narrowing down my recipients will be very hard!
This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY -nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

My eight:

1-Kim Miller at http://kimfightscancer.blogspot.com
Kim is the most amazing woman for all she is going through and sharing with people across the world her battle/healing with cancer. She was beautiful and amazing before she became ill and she is radiant, beautiful and amazing now!

2-Ann over at http://karmabox.com/blog, she makes these simply wonderful girls hair clips and other things and her political views are much like mine that she makes me laugh and be thankful I am not the only one ranting on my blog about politics!

3-Candace over at http://squashhousequilts.blogspot.com,
Candace is so wonderful in sharing her life and her quilts. She is moving to Eastern Washington and she used a snowman as a guest blog writer, now, I love that idea!

4-Tammy at Quilt Dash. http://www.quiltdash.com
Not just because of the awesome work she does with the quilt dash, but because she is also very helpful, sharing, kind and a computer wizard when I can't figure something out!

5-Rachel at http://www.oneprettything.com
Her site is just awe inspiring to me and she is so busy!

6-Sherry at http://ificouldsetmysoulfree.blogspot.com
Sherry is just one of those wonderful people that once you meet her, you become instant friends. Her and her family are warm, wonderful and have blessed me immensely!

7-As always, Lisa at http://thepreachers-wife.blogspot.com
Lisa has an amazing writing talent, a love for God, a love for women and wrote a fantastic Bible study that kept me encouraged and closer to God this year and she does it with love and humor!

8- Rebecca at http://thriftygoodness.blogspot.com
Rebecca is not just another blogger, she has become an internet friend and she has a wonderful Etsy shop where she finds fantastic vintage items and her service is superior!

Each one of you have become dear friends and Melinda and I share so much in common with raising our grandchildren, living in Washington...only she hates snow and I love snow, she loves fishing and I can't stand it!

Once again, Merry Christmas Everyone!
