Come On In and Make Yourself Comfortable

Come on in, have a seat and join us for dinner. tonight we are having mashed potatoes (under the towel), fried chicken (nice and crispy) and honey glazed carrots (in the pan). As you can see, we have been expecting you, the table is set with our best dishes (don't tell anyone, we use these as our everyday dishes as well), the candles are set and lit and the girls took special care this evening to wrap the silverware in the napkins.

As you can see, the candles have been arranged nicely with
some colored gravel and rocks and lit in anticipation for you joining us this evening.

You will have to excuse the girls, they are very giggly this evening and anything you do or say they will laugh hysterically at, so please don't take it personally.

On the other hand, baby boy still doesn't feel well and is extremely quiet for this time of the night.

Now, would you like a piece of this delicious fried chicken? I can guarantee you this is good old southern comfort food.

Now that you are done, I am sure hoping you saved some room for the desert, because it was made by the girls and it is rich, dark and decadent and guaranteed to make you remember when you were still a child.

No, it isn't chocolate ice cream, it isn't cookies or even moms best home made cake, it is richer by far than all of those.

I hope you left room for at least a small piece, the girls will be so upset if you pass their desert up.

Here it is now, homemade brownies. Go ahead, cut yourself a nice large piece and enjoy.

Thanks again for joining us for Sunday dinner and we are looking forward to seeing you again next Sunday.

Always remember, at least once a week to have dinner with your family and make it special they are soooooooooooooo worth it!
