As many of you know, I struggle daily with my back and yet, I love quilting. I have my good days and bad days when I am cutting and pinning and tying, but lately, the most difficult times I have are sitting on the floor to finish a quilt.
I have a wonderful sister in Christ that also quilts and she brought me this quilt rack to use to finish up a few of my projects. It is amazing and how tight the frame keeps the quilt while I am working.
This quilt rack is special to my friend Dawn because it belonged to her husbands mother which makes this even more special to me that they would trust me with a family heirloom as they do!
This is a blessing because I can finish this quilt and I don't have to get on the floor to do it. This quilt frame is set up in my living room and I have my cross stitch project in the basement and I am working on finishing up my granddaughters quilt. Then I have another project for my grandson and hopefully, by end of May, I will be caught up.
Here is another picture of the underside of the frame and it is so much fun to be able to have this quilt close to me when I am quilting instead of having to reach so far out!
Thank you Dawn for your trust, support and love! I am so blessed to have so many friends in my life!
