Kids Cook The Yummiest Things

I want to share with you some wonderful recipes from my grandsons kindergarten class. I just know you will all rush out to buy some of the extra ingrediants and just won't be able to wait to try these out on your friends!

My Grandsons Chicken:

10 Pieces of chicken

15 Tablespoons of salt (he must have been watching his Papa cook)

1,000 Tablespoons of pepper

11 Tablespoons of white gravy

21 Cups of Salsa
Directions:
'Bake the chicken in the oven for 10 hours. Take it out and put some salsa on it and then put some white gravy on it and then put on the salt and pepper, then mix it up together and put it in the microwave for 10 minutes and we get it out and it is finished. When you get it out , put some salt on it and then put some more salt on it (yep, his Papa was cooking this day), then put the pepper on it and then eat it!'

Perhaps you are planning a dinner party for a few close friends and want to go Italian that evening. How about some wonderful spaghetti?

Kindergarten Spaghetti:

Ingrediants:
400 Meatballs

400 Noodles

300 Jars of Spaghetti Sauce

Directions:

'Put the meatballs in a pan and fry them for 7 minutes. Put noodles in a boil and put water in the boil and keep them in there for about 2 hours. When they are done, let them cool down. Mix the meatballs and the sauce and noodles together and then you can eat it!'

When planning a party, one cannot forget the appetizers and you can't go wrong with Deviled Eggs:

Ingrediants:

  • 4 eggs

  • 5 spoonfuls of mustard

  • 1 bean chili

  • 100 cups of Mayonnaise

Directions:

'Mix all of this stuff together. Then put it in the oven and cook it for 100 minutes and then you eat it and give it to everybody that comes to Christmas. Then you go to bed and wait for Santa to come. Then you open your presents and then you go to school.'

Lastly, what is a party without dessert?
Banana Cake:
3 Eggs
3 Boxes of cake batter
6 cups of milk
1 banana
3 cups sugar

Directions:

'Put some powdered stuff that is white in a bowl, then mix it up with a wooden spoon. Then you have to add the other stuff and then put it in the stove. Cook for 4 minutes at 7 degrees. Then you take it out and let it cool off. And you put white frosting on it. Then after you cool it off you can eat it!'

I would like to thank Miss Kuni's 2008/2009 kindergarten class for their delightful collection of their favorite recipes. I hope you enjoy them as we did, with smiles on our faces and rushing to call a cooking school before the kids really tried to cook these!
