Pain Levels Up but Spirits Not Down...

I keep telling myself that the worst of this pain and problem from coming off my medications will subside with the worst of it being tonight. Lord, I am asking for a good night, please be with me, Amen!

Last night I went to bed when the rest of the family did and that is something I usually do not do. I sat up on my massager watching the food network for about 30 minutes and then decided that I would try to get some sleep.

I slept until my spasms woke me up at 0200 (once again) and the first thing I did was get up and drink a large glass of water hoping that this would help some of the spasms since I am learning that if we don't keep hydrated, our muscles will spasm and since I had been sleeping for about 5 hours, I figured water might help.

It didn't and 20 minutes tossing and turning, I sat up in my massage chair hoping to fall asleep and when I couldn't I just read for awhile. Around 4:00 I tried to fall asleep again and rolled up against hubby who was toasty warm and finally fell asleep.

I slept until 8:20 this morning. I just can't let this pain beat me or I will give up and never get back out of bed. Today after my shower, I will do the stretching exercises with the arthritis video I have and continue to force water during the day.

I hope you have a blessed day!

Hello dear,
I can relate to your pain! I have it once in a while. As my chiropractor suggested I start taking potastium everyday. I don't suffer near what I used to. I don't know if this will help you or not dear, but it can't hurt. I wish you all the luck in the world with dealing with it. I hope you have a wonderfully blessed day dear!

We have tried the Potassium, it isn't from lack of electrolytes, I think it is my body rebelling over having 2 surgeries. I would love to have a massage therapist in my pocket so when these hit, we can try massage. Still smiling!
