Monday morning, I begin a new journey....I have taken on a part-time position in a new day care facility and while the pay isn't much, it is with a Christian facility that has a vision of becoming so much more than just a day care.
They want to be able to minister to families in the area, be open at different hours to help families that need longer days and they are giving me the chance to work in an area that I feel will help me heal.
As many of you know, I have fibromyalgia and lately it has began tensing up in my back and the spasms have been unbearable all night long and most of it is due to stress. I am hoping being around people who truly are lovers of the Lord and the little ones, will help my back relax.
It will be 15 hours to begin with a week, then I will go from that job to my current position, so the hours at the first place will make up for hours lost at the second one. I was offered a chance to test with the state, however that job would only be on call and be an hours drive away...ewww!~
