March Giveaway, Lets Get It Started...

The sun has been shining brightly the last few days in our area and it is time to bring in spring and what a better way to do this than a wonderful giveaway for the month of March!
In keeping with the true spirit of my blog and using handmade items to help artisians that do such wonderful jobs and knowing I just do not have the time to always make something for my giveaways, I am giving away these beautiful cup sleeves made by Camille over at Art Fire where she makes more than these wonderful reusable cup sleeves.
While there is a picture of 5, I am only offering up 4 as I am keeping one selfishly for myself!
So, I will be choosing 4 lucky winners at the end of the giveaway to win one of these wonderful reusable and handmade cup sleeves.
I chose the breast cancer ribbon print in honor of my mothers brave struggle with breast cancer and for all that have had to or will have to deal with this horrific disease!
I am also offering up a Grabbit magnetic pin cushion Burgundy in color.
Scrap Batting. I have lots of projects in which I always have chunks of batting left over, so I am offering up a large mailing envelope of batting from the Warm Company and Mountain Mist.
As always, someone will receive a mailing envelope of scrap fabric.

An Incredibly Exhausting Journey

It has been an incredibly exhausting week this week. I don't know which is more intense, working full-time or keeping the girls schedules straight. They tried out for a part in the school play and it has keep me running wild all week long. Pick one up and drop off at practice, go back pick her up and drop the other off and then tonight both girls had practice until 1930 hours.

Dinner has been out of whack, I have been exhausted and yet happy and poor little man, he has feel all alone because he didn't get a part. But he rolls with the good and the bad always with a smile on his face.

In addition to all of this, I had to get new tires on my car and now both vehicles require repairs that will require most of Saturday to repair...hubby needs a power steering unit for his truck and my van needs both front and back breaks.

I have literally fallen asleep several times this week watching television which is so totally unlike me.

Tomorrow I have some errands to run out of town so guess I need to head to bed. Sorry if I have been so quiet!

My View From Work

This is the view I have out my office window. Today the ocean was an amazing dark gray and it had these beautiful breaking white caps. When I first got to work, there were actually a few surfers playing in the waves, but I think it even got to choppy for them. I had my van parked where these 2 are and decided it would be better to move it away from the sea wall.
Here are two more angles out my window and you can see where someone has left there crab pots sitting. You can also see that the ocean was a bit calmer when I first came into work.
Then there is the buoy in the background. It couldn't have been to bad today as there were many boats and even a motorized rowboat out in the harbor.
When we have a sunny day, I will go out and take better pictures. Growing up on the coast, I learned a huge respect for the ocean and you just don't mess around with her when she is angry!
