Ott Lite Giveaway

Have you ever wanted an OttLite for your work area, desk area, reading area? If you have and have been like me unable to afford one, sign up for your chance to win the OttLite 508.

OttLite company graciously sent me an OttLite 508 for my personal use in my sewing closet and a second one for me to giveaway to one very lucky reader.

This is a Creative High Definition Natural Lighting light to help you see clearly and comfortably and I can't wait to plug mine in and talk to all of you about how great it is.

This giveaway will run from tomorrow February 1st thru Valentines day February 14th 9:00 PM PST. Winner will be announced on February 16th as I will be busy on the 15th taking family back to the airport in Seattle.

Here are the rules:
1- Leave your name and an email address so I can contact you if you are the winner. 1 entry.
2-Tell me where you would use your OttLite 508 for another entry.
3- Post about this giveaway on your blog, facebook or twitter for another entry.
4- Comment on any post between tomorrow and the 15th at 9:00 PM PST for 1 entry each comment.
5- If you have an OttLite, tell me what you love about it.

That's all. No running all over the place, just leave comments for entries. I am sorry, but open to US and Canada residents only due to the cost of shipping something this side to another country.

Good Luck to you all and feel free to blog about it!

I have an ott light and I use it to stitch with. I've wanted a light on my desk because it is dark where I work downstairs near my computer.

Thanks for the opportunity :)

thank you so much for letting me know about this lovely giveaway~I would love to use this Ottlite for when I crochet at night. It is so dim in the house it's hard to see~yes I'm getting old LOL.
I've always had 20-20 vision, but nearing 40 I think I better go get my eyes checked. My dd would also love the Ottlite, because she's only 8 and learning to crochet as well. xoxo HUGS. thank you once again! nikimcn (a)t hotmail do-t com

I would use a new Ott Light next to my sewing machine. My room was originally a Living Room I guess, no ceiling fixture for light and it's a dark room. I have lamps all over the place for light and an Ott by my machine would be awesome!

SewLindaAnn said...

I have a small ott lite over my cutting mat in the middle of the room, so one by my sewing machine would be really helpful. It's better than the regular lamp because there isn't all the glare on the ruler. Thanks for the chance!

I have a smaller ott light in my quilt room... I could use another in my quilt room near my cutting area.
Thank you!

Ohhh....nice giveaway! I wanna play!

I am in NEED of another light in my quilting area. Right now I bring in "the sun" from the garage. Its one of those outside work lights. And it makes me blind because its so bright....but otherwise its too dark!!

autumnesf said...

I do have one Ottlite. Its a small one that I found on sale to try it out. I'd heard good things but the price was so prohibitive on our income that I just couldn't try the big one without seeing how well they really worked.

So wish I'd bought the big one. I have the small one in one corner of my quilting area and I love the way it picks up the true colors of the fabrics.

I've been wanting a smaller sized Ott to use on my work table. The extra light right near what I am working on would be so nice to have!

Thanks for this opportunity to win an Ott - to both you and to Ott.

I don't have an Ott, but hubby did buy me a no name similar light that I love! I have it by my 'reading' chair in the living room. It works great and is sooo needed when doing cross stitch or sewing on bindings for me. Getting older sure has it's pit falls. If I would win this one, I would set it up in the sewing room. I have an L shaped desk so would place it there. The desk part to the left is where I keep a small mat and cutter and my directions for any patterns I'm working on, or a place to rip out seams...I need better light there...this would be perfect and the penholders would be useful too...maybe I could put my seam ripper in there! :)

I do a lot of knitting and my favorite needles are dark wood - they're wonderful except when I am also using dark yarn - then seeing the stitches is sometimes a problem. I've wanted an Ott Light forever but just can't afford one even with the great coupons at JoAnn's. Thanks for this giveaway/contest

I would give this to my step daughter if I won it.. I am trying to build her crafting area... She had a fire and lost everything and she used her ottlite all the time when she was stitching

I have a Ottlight on the thread cabinet that is beside my chair in the living room, I wouldn't stitch without it.

Hi!

I still live at home, so my bedroom doubles as my sewing room, I have a little lamps from Target that I use and it just doesn't do the job, a new bright light would be amazing for me to use in my sewing and quilting adventures!

Thank you

I would love to win this! I had a lamp I used to read and crochet with. It died a while ago :( Now I use the one in the living room, but it is big and to hard to just move around, so I'm stuck doing all my work in that one spot. Thanks for the chance to win!

Joshlin said...

I would use it next to my computer. I like to look up crochet patterns and then do them at the computer.

Thanks for the opportunity to win! I posted about your giveaway on my blog at http://fleurdelisquilts.blogspot.com

I would use it in the studio near my stash. It's sometimes difficult to see the true colors of a particular fabric unless I pull it out and go to a window.
