Scentsy Product Review

During our last giveaway, Jenn Burton over at The Scent Girl generously gave away to one of my lucky readers, a Scentsy warmer and candle bar. The ironic thing about that, was the winner, Kelly from I have a Notion blog wasn't even going to participate because she didn't trust her little ones with candles.

When I told Kelly Scentsy has no open flames, she commented and was the winner. We were both shocked and happy at her win. I am happy for all that win something from my giveaways. Kelly picked a very nice warmer.

However, it doesn't stop there, Jenn contacted me and asked if I would do a product review since I myself had never owned a Scentsy product and since my Mama didn't raise any dummies, of course, I jumped and said yes! I ordered the very basic Purple one to go into my bedroom and all I can say is it is beautiful.

The picture above doesn't show the rich and deep color of this unit and fits nicely on a shelf in my bedroom.

Jenn also generously sent me 3 candle bars and all I can say is: I wish I could find a way to send you the smell through the computer. Oh my, I have found scent heaven! The first one I tried was the green tea and cactus and within minutes my living room was filled with the soft scent of green tea. You could smell it through out the house and it was yummy.

HOWEVER, I quickly realized how great a product Scentsy is when I could smell it downstairs....take my advise, unless it is a very large area, do not use 3 of the little squares at one time. I had over scented the house, but the great thing about Scentsy, is that once it is melted, you can actually pour it back into its original container, let it sit awhile and it quickly molds itself back into a bar.

THAT''S RIGHT...Scentsy is REUSABLE, thus saving you valuable dollars that would otherwise be wasted on candles, sprays, plug ins, etc. You can reuse the candle bars more than once and that makes them so very valuable and money saving in my eyes.

They clean up nicely and very easily and you don't have to worry about a mess.

If you have small children, I would recommend the burner as with any thing that gets warm or hot be placed high enough out of their reach they can't pull the melted wax down on them.

I do not think you can go wrong with Scentsy products and I truly hope that if you go to purchase a Scentsy product that you order directly from Jenn who so generously offered a product for a giveaway. I feel it is very important that if a company offers to give you my readers a product just for leaving a comment, we should be generous back with our money and let them know how much we appreciate them.

After all, many companies, distributors, dealers, etc. do NOT offer product reviews and will NOT send items to use as a giveaway. When someone like Jenn, Ott Lite, Abby Mays, etc. comes to me and asks if I would like to have a giveaway of their product, I always think it is cool for us to show them our support by spending our hard earned dollars with them.

As always, when you do purchase a product during a giveaway or even after...let them know the Quilting Ranny sent you their way.

Thank you Scent Girl, your products are awesome and I will be ordered another warmer soon!

Thanks for the nice review. I've not tried a scentcy only because hubby doesn't like scent..I have to burn candles and do plug in when he is at work...and his new schedule finds him at home alot..which is good, but I don't use my scents much anymore like I use to. I'd have a candle going every day..I just love scent!
