Response from Convoy of Hope

Perhaps in my haste to help others, I didn't think it through. If you want to donate money, that is between you and the Lord, I was thinking someone like Donald Trump would catch onto this and donate a cargo trailer to carry our quilts to Japan...anyone know how to contact 'The Donald?'

Thank you so much for your willingness to serve the people of Japan alongside Convoy of Hope.

Due to the current safety issues in Japan and the logistical hurdles, we are only accepting monetary donations at this time. These monetary donations will allow us to respond in a more timely and efficient manner.

Knowing that there will be a future need for product donations we will keep your contact information in our database and will contact you as soon as we begin accepting product donations.

For further updates regarding our response in Japan, please visit www.convoyofhope.org.

Scrappy quilter said...

That's too bad however I can understand in a way. Wouldn't it be wonderful though if we could all make a quilt. They did for Australia when the floods happened. Wonder if there are any quilters in Japan that we could send blocks to? Hugs
