They've Even Outgrown Their Aprons...

The apron diva girl is wearing was originally supposed to be a dress, but I didn't have enough fabric for it, so I made it into a really cool paisley print apron and she loves wearing it. Here she is, measuring out the oatmeal to be ground into flour for our Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies...yummy!

You can barely see her apron as she diligently measures the sugar. It is orange and pleated across the top and a short apron, she doesn't like things around her neck to much!

Not to be outdone in the kitchen by his sisters, our handsome youngest one here has his very own robotic apron and loves it!
They have all been in the kitchen cooking with me since they supervised from their high chairs. I made all their aprons and they have gotten lots of use out of them. It is cute to see them wash their hands and grab their aprons when they want to help cook.

Today, they put them on for the first time in a few weeks and I realized it is time to get out the scissors and make some new ones. This robot is so small it barely fits, so they will go into my stash later this week and one by one, they will pick the fabric they want new aprons made from. The old ones? Probably my Zibbet shop, their little sister, a giveaway...one never knows!

This is what we were cooking. Some very sweet bell peppers for filling later this evening for stuffed peppers. Showing them how to cut, clean and cook them without them falling apart. Out cookies!

Have a blessed evening!
