As a little girl, I always dreamed of playing a piano and being good at it. I wanted to be able to play Amazing Grace and the Boogie Woogie, but it never happened and by the time I began to take band, I couldn't read a lick of music or play, so my dream went by the wayside.
However, today, that dream belongs to another little girl and she is my middle granddaughter Alysha who has been dreaming of playing piano forever and taking lessons since last October and participated in two recitals and music Olympic's and is coming along well.
We got her a keyboard in beginning because you don't want a huge piano in your house if no one will be playing it & true to her word, she practices and when we lost our neighbor and found out he had not just a piano, but this beautiful Black Walnut Reichardt player piano, we talked to his family and purchased it.
Less than an hour ago, the moving company brought it up from their basement, across the street, up our stairs and in our living room.
I can't wait to see her eyes when she gets home today and see's her piano!
