I have been a partner on a online prayer team for over 10 years now. The women on this team are mighty warriors of Jesus and while we have seen tragedy, we have also seen miracles and triumph. We pray for each other, for family, for friends, for strangers.
I have met only one of them personally, yet they have always been there for me. One, I have never met spent almost 2 years lunch free, fasting and praying for my youngest sons safety while he was in prison and getting up in the middle of the night to pray for him.
Now, her son is in Army bootcamp and as it happens, he is not only homesick, but exhausted and tired. I was thinking, what an amazing blessing this young man has in his dream to be a soldier, a protector of the United States of America and I know he can do this.
Yesterday while the kids and I were in the shoe store a soldier walked in and the kids were talking to him and I just said thank you. He looked up at me and said, 'no maam, thank you for your recognition.'
So, lets all boost up this young man and send him a postcard, a letter and say you can do this PFC Coosey, you rock! Tell him his moms prayer partner Jean told you about him needing some letters from home!
