It is never easy saying good-bye to old friends and to me it is harder to say good-bye to good quilting shops whether they are on line or in our neighborhoods. It breaks my heart! That is how it seems to have been this year as I have heard of 2 shops closing.
I do not revel in someones closing their shop and I do not know why Linda and Sandy have decided to close theirs, but I know they haven't posted on their blog since June of this year, but I know their decision did not just happen over night.
If you have enough stash to last the rest of your life, you probably don't need to stop by http://www.this-n-thatfabrics.com/ to check out their fabulous buys. Fat Quarters for $1.20 each, end of the bolt sales and fabric at less than $6 a yard in many areas. If you want to indulge yourself, stop by.
Just stop by tell them I sent you and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
