Thawing Out

No, I am NOT back, but wanted to share these photos of my deck, van and yard this March morning. Also wondering if anyone out there knows much about Hypothyroidism? Beginning to wonder if my issues are thyroid related as opposed to Fibro related. Just so stinking exhausted anymore!

On a more positive note, the sky this morning is the most brilliant and beautiful blue I have seen in awhile and the sun is shining! Yes, the date on my camera is still acting up!

Hubs and I are hypothyroid and our youngest has Hashimotos Thyroidism. It's a simple blood test to find out - I would highly recommend it if you have problems losing weight and with being tired. Cold hands and feet and foggy brain are also symptoms.

Glad to see you whether you are back or not. When I read all you do, I can only imagine much of your exhaustion is because you so rarely stop and just have Jean time.

Last week when I was at my endrocinologist appointment, I noticed a poster on the wall listing the symptoms of hypothyroidism. With what you've shared about what is going on with you, I'd render a guess checking into it would be a good idea.

Glad you are thawing out...I think warm spring weather and sunshine is going to have a positive effect on all of us.

Sounds like the thaw is over by the post on Facebook. :o) Hope all is well in your world. I too am still working on getting a counselor but did get the insurance authorization which is a good step in right direction.

The problem with fibromyalgia is that there are so many other things that mimic it -- or it mimics them. I have neuropathy and arthritis in the neck and spine as well as fibromyalgia. I would hope my doctor has tested me for hypo thyroidism, he knows all my complaints and he diagnosed the fibro. But I know what you mean about the fatigue. Mine is also lack of gumption to just get out and do something! I do it, but it is an effort and only because I have to.
