For a long time now I wasn't requiring word verification from those visiting my blog. However in the past few weeks, the anonymous comments that have came through have been numbering in the 15 per day range.
They do not automatically go to a spam file and one of these infected my computer with a horrible redirect virus that we cannot get rid of.
A funeral was held for my partner of over 6 years, Dell as the damage done to his hard drive was to much to recover from. I have quickly moved on however to a new partner named Mac...lets hope Mac stays healthier than Dell did!
So, for the interim while I am adjusting to a new computer, word verification will remain in place. I am sorry, but I can't take any chances!
