I am having my first 2013 Quiltingranny giveaway and this one will require you to send me at least one picture of your sewing/embroidery or quilting space.
This will in turn inspire me when I am ready to build mine into what I can put into it to make it fit perfectly!
First prize is a mystery prize but will consist of at least 1 yard of fabric and 2 notion's of my choosing for the first place winner! I know you will not be disappointed!
Second Prize - 2 Fat Quarters |
Third place is this new set of 50 Dritz Curved Safety pins and I do not know about any of you, but since finding these, I am using straight pins less and less and that saves my families feet!
Fourth place are these 2 cute packages of spring buttons which I love! You can embellish a hot pad, childs outfit or anything else you would like.
Well, maybe these aren't so to write home about, but everyone who joins has a chance to win and they are free, no postage you have to pay, no entry fee, just free!

What I love about my sewing space is that LOTS of pretty things come out of there for the good. What I'm not thrilled about my sewing area is that there is little storage and that it is in a different building than my longarm. Someday... they will all be together providing my body will allow me to continue to climb stairs.
I just got a new sewing space, love it all! have a look on my blog.. is that enough? you can see pics there
I love giveaways!!! lol..

Thank you for this chance
Oh my-I love that I have a sewing space, but I am not very organized, so I dislike that I am not organized better. I see lovely pictures of others' spaces and am envious. Mine could be lovely, I am just not good at decorating and so it is functional.
I will take a picture and come back and enter...
Here is a blog post with a picture of my quilting area. My favorite part of my QA is the design wall. I forgot to mention that. You can see it in this post.

I sew at my kitchen counter. I live in a tiny 700 square foot home but I am happy to have a space to set up.
My sewing space will inspire you -- to do better! LOL To be more organized, and have more room! Heehee!
I'll send you a picture!
I love the size of my space but don't like having to share it with my two children and their toys.
I love the fact that the space is workable for me but don't like that it is HOT!!! in summer and freezing in winter.
I love that I now have a space to sew that is bigger than the kitchen table but I don't like that it is basically a shed at the back of our property (this is only a short walk but at night it is dark!!)
My sewing space is in the basement. I love the table my husband built me.I need more storage area though https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150402975691655&set=a.4815056654.5281.626211654&type=3&theater.
I love all of my old machines and my grandmother's quilt hanging on the wall, but I do not like how small it is and the fact I have to use my dining room!

I love that my quilting space is on the main floor of the house, where I am part of what is going on. What I don't love about it is that there is very little storage space, so I tend to stack fabric all over.

I sent you a photo of my sewing space, with my sewing machine in front of a window. I made my sewing machine cover from a yard of fabric that I love but had been reluctant to cut into. Now that I've made something from it, I see it every day and it makes me very happy.
