So, for the last 5 days I have been off my Flexoril (a muscle relaxant that aides sleep for those of use with Fibromyalgia). I just decided one night I was going to fall asleep without it and for the last 5 nights, my sleep has been total bliss and I didn't even wake up in the middle of the night like I did with the meds.
My face has been less puffy, I wake up in the morning feeling at least like I have slept and I have had no more night terrors. That was before....................last night. I went to bed as usual at 2100 hours (9:00 pm). My legs and feet started the creepy bugs in my body symptom or Restless Leg Syndrome. 2130, I think I rolled back and forth at least 20 times. 2200....thats it, up I got headed for the couch.
Finally, by midnight I was able to drift off to sleep. Tonight? Well, lets just say it is almost 11:00 pm and here I am blogging because I can't sleep! It is just so frustrating to think I have a plan and one that seems to be working and them BAM! I am back to square one!
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Sorry you are having to deal with all of this. I've taken Flexeril before, but it made me so sleepy during the day. Thanks for visiting my blog (new one). I guess I just got the idea to make myself a new blog, no quilt list, and not run the blog rat race lol. I was feeling over committed. Thanks again for the kind words on autism. Joey sure keeps me moving. He is 7 1/2 and plugging along. He is very smart, but has a hard time with communication, so every conversation is a chore for him. He struggles. God bless you! niki
You proibably need that medication....maybe you can just take a little break from it once in a while....Melinda
Sometimes when we are on medication, it tricks our bodies into believing we will never be better. However, our bodies are amazing things. Their goal is always to work well, we just need to find the REASON it isn't so that it can do it's job properly. It isn't easy. My healing thoughts are with you. Cathy
