My Fall Project for My Son

My son called me awhile back and said he and his soon to be wife had nothing on their walls. So, since I was making a fall wall hanging for myself, I decided to make 2 of them. One for our house and one for theirs. So, this morning I was able to finish it up after I came back from a quick trip to the beach.

As you can see from the top, it has 2 large acorns in a brown and green print, 2 leaves in black with
smaller fall leaves and a tree branch. I just loved the colors I used to make this stand out.

It actually came out to be much larger than I thought it would be at 19 1/2" wide and 42" long. I free machine quilted it all together and I like the rambling squiggles on the bottom.

I am planning to work on the one for our house this upcoming week-end and then I will hang it from the outside porch lamp and I think it will liven the porch up a bit and make it look like we are ready for fall.

No, it really isn't crooked, it is just that I hung it from the top of my clock and it doesn't exactly fit.

Here is hoping you have a wonderful day and get to do some catching up!
