My Handmade Choices for January

I have made up my mind and decided to go with 3 picks for handmade/supporting stay at home moms & grandparents.

My first choice is I am purchasing some handmade valentine cards from Melinda over at Melinda's fabric fancies (see my sidebar) for the grandchildren to give to their teachers. Melinda is a terrific artist and is raising her grandchildren alone, so she was an easy choice.

My second choice is I am purchasing some fabric from Sherry over at If I Could Set My Soul Free (on the sidebar) for a baby quilt I am making for my new granddaughter who is trying very hard to make her debut way to early. Sherry is a stay at home mom and grandmother who crochets hats and other wonderful things, raising her children and she takes care of her grandchild during the week.

Lastly, I have wanted for the longest time a tea cozy and have chosen to purchase it from cozies by eldonna and you can check their beautiful cozies out at: http://www.byeldonna.com
stop by and tell them I sent you over.

So, these are my own personal handmade/stay at home choices. I hope each one of you choose at least one handmade product this month for yourself or someone else. Remember, it isn't to early to get started on Christmas gifts for this year.
