Amost There, But Not Quite

I had plenty of time this past week-end with 4 days off to work on this quilt and work, I did. I put on the outer border and sandwiched the batting, back and front together and finished pinning it.

I then decided to make some matching pillows to go with it and used white eyelet for 2 of them and left 2 plain (they still need stuffin').

I am making this for and will be sending it to a police dispatcher whose home burnt to the ground last November. While I am slow sometimes, I do my best to finish them quickly. My health issues and the holidays kind of got in the way!

I will do some in the ditch sewing and some hand tying and it will be done. I would love to be able to have this shipped out by the end of next week.

Now ya know, why I am looking for your opinion on sewing machines!
