It has been a strange and whirlwindy week here in Washington. First came the news of my moms breast cancer and then waiting for 3 days to hear any further and yet there still isn't any news until she sees the surgeon.
Then working 2 days in a row hand quilting (why oh why do I think I can do these things quickly?) a large full sized quilt and I am still working on that. Spending last night trying to find the pattern instructions for the newest grandchilds dress. I cut all the pieces out and I think I can do with without the pattern, but arrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh, it aggravates me to loose something!
I have worked the past 2 days and really had a great time. Today I came home and there were white beans and ham on the stove cooking away and hubby just informed me he is treating us all to a real walk-in movie this evening! WooHoo! We are going to see 'Witch Mountain.'
To all who have inquired about my doctor report, the biopsy showed normal tissue and I had 6 days off after the procedure. Yesterday after spending several hours on my feet, the problem started back up. See the doc Tuesday and hoping she will have some answers.
We are entering spring break and I am soooooooooooooooo ready for it. Painting to do, sewing and quilting!

So much to do, so little time! Hang in there, take a deep breath, and relax. I've decided when I get back on my meds I want to try and make my first-ever quilt - a remembrance quilt from my Mama's clothes. If I can.
