A Wonderful Day

One, Two Three...YMCA...Its fun to play at the YMCA! Yeah, Yeah, I am showing my age I know!

Our local YMCA had a healthy kids day and I do believe they were overwhelmed by all who showed up. They were only giving away 50 free tee-shirts and having a drawing for some other things that we don't need, but the kids really wanted to go so for once I said why not!

We waited in line to sign in, waiting in line for the fun and the standing was not good on my back or my Fibromyalgia, I had to come home and rest for awhile. But, the blessing side of this was each one of the kids received a free 3 month membership to the Y. Now, I have to figure out how to pay for a membership because they can't go on their own.

I was reading some of the activities they have and thought a few of the swimming classes would be perfect for me and who knows, it might help my back if I started out slow like in the classes with the really really old people. NAH! They would be able to run circles around me. But I am looking to call them Monday and see if they offer scholarships.

I am now on Sulindac or Clinoril for my Fibromyalgia and so far after 2 days (I know, but remember I have no patience) I am in horrible pain and last night I had night terrors, so if I continue with the pain and night terrors, I am going to assume it is the new meds.

We had a great dinner this evening of a dish called Loaded Spaghetti. It was really yummy and the kids loved it!

Hope you had a great Saturday!
