Starting Monday Off With A Request and A Warning

Please, when you respond to someones blog, try and not answer anonymously. I love to respond to all of you when I can and if your post comes to me as anonymous at blogspot, I have no way to answer back to you. Sometimes some of your comments will link back to your blog and that is great, but trust me, this anonymous Email back to me won't stop spam. If you need help on how to do this, Daisy Quilts on my side bar has an excellent tutorial that explains it.

I don't have a problem with typing in the letters thing as that is supposed to help you from having spam from a computer and I am good with that.

BEWARE! There is a person trying to get you to sell them some of your items, do not respond. They go by Katie and the comment link goes to nothing as does the Email post you will recieve. I knew it was a scam by several things:
  1. They responded to a post that was over 7 months old.
  2. They wanted to buy my fabric selvedges and wanted me to tell them more about them.
  3. Anyone who sews or quilts knows what selvedges are and wouldn't need me to tell them more about them.

Seller beware, while we all need to make money and want to trust each other, there are still people out there that will cause you more harm than good and they are banking on your trusting nature. Don't sell directly from your blog, use Ebay, Zibbet, Etsy or ArtFire and take Paypal, RME or some other form of payment that is insured and can verify payment.

Have a wonderful Monday!

There are many reasons people enjoy being anonymous.

Maybe they're old school or don't have a blog themselves.

If this distresses you, go into your settings and disable anonymous posts.

I'll try to remember not to post here in the future. It's difficult to maintain such a checklist but I will give it a try.
