Please Support Our Contributors

If you have followed my blog for any time at all, you will know I am a firm believer in trying to support the people who make wonderful handmade items and utilize Etsy, Zibbet and Art Fire. I have been blessed to be able to share with you many of these wonderful products such as:
  • Handmade soaps
  • Handmade hair clips
  • Handmade jewelry
  • Etc.
In addition, I have been blessed to have business owners (private and corporate) donate items as a product review and giveaway such as:
  • Glade
  • Dymo
  • Scentscy
  • OttLite
  • Shasta Quilts
  • Abby Mays
  • Etc.
I have also given away items as gently used, brand new or handmade by myself. It has always been fun and I do my best to include those wonderful international readers so they can win something as well. However, some items are just to cost prohibitive to send internationally with the exception of Canada.

What I want everyone to know and realize is no one has to donate anything to this blog and I have had many tell me no when approached to offer my readers a chance to win a product I myself believe in. Most often, companies are very happy to donate something and I get to bless winners with a wonderful gift.

I know the economy is bad right now, we all are struggling and most of us have tightened our belts so tight, we can barely breathe. However, we all still purchase items we need or want and that is where I am asking you to remember those that support our giveaways.

If you are looking for something to make your home, car, laundry room, etc. smell good, check out Scentsy. Did you know they have monthly bargains and sale items? I just purchased a Zeuss warmer on close out and saved enough money to buy an extra candle bar. Some of the items are less than $5. Have a Scentsy party on line. I will be having one next month and will let you all know, you don't have to show up, just order something if you want to.

What about Dymo? They sent me a new labeler so I passed on my old one which was less than a year old to one of my readers. It was a win/win situation.

How many of you quilt and purchase fabric from JoAnn's, your local quilt shop, Hancock's or WalMart? Before you head out, check out Shasta Quilts and Abby Mays and think about purchasing your fabric from these wonderful shops.

Do you have a shop on line? I am always looking to let my readers know what others are selling.

I make a concentrated effort at least once a month to purchase a handmade item knowing I am helping a family who has taken a stand against Made in China, see through from WalMart items.

I am NOT saying you have to do this, all I am asking is that if you are going to purchase something, think about those that have helped support this blog and if you purchase something from them, be sure to let them know the Quilting Ranny sent you their way.

Wow! I am so blessed to have all of you as readers and can't believe I have met so many awesome, spiritual, loving, gifted people!

Thank you for making this blog a success!
