Arizona Wild Fire, Please Pray

At first glance this picture looks like a beautiful sunset until you realize it is setting through a thick haze of smoke that has been burning in the White Mountains of Arizona. It is called the Wallow fire and yes, it dawned on me that my previous post, I was probably wallowing in my self pity.

I am posting this to ask all who read this to say prayers for the fire fighters, residents, travelers, law enforcement, emergency dispatchers and others that are working hard to put this fire out! Lets pray for everyone in the vicinity of this horrible fire as it has already burned 600 square miles of the state.

We lived in Arizona when I was a little girl and the wildfires were my biggest fear. We lost fire fighters EVERY year to them....half of which died from snake bite. Hopefully that has improved over 30 years time.

It may have improved a bit, but I know fire fighters die every year in these big fires!
