The Days Are Quickly Passing...

The summer sun is slowly fading away from the harbor and being replaced by well known gray fog that remains until late in the day.

Kids that once awoke early as the sun peeped through the cracks in their curtains are now sleeping in late, staying in longer and preparing for the long school days ahead!

Tinkling chimes, once only heard in the late warm sticky afternoon as the breeze crept across the rive are now becoming more frequent and louder signalling the call for fall!

Nights that once lasted into early morning with its brightness is slowley becoming darker as if right on cue knowing the kids must get to sleep earlier so their brains will rest during the evening from class work and homework.

Yes, summer is quickly coming to an end and fall will be taking its place with the leaves slowly swirling down, drifting as they are carried from the trees to the ground giving way to children laughing and running and jumping through them.

Beautiful greens that only God can create will be slowly replaced with oranges, yellows and reds in amazing quilted colors.

Summer is slowly becoming fall!

I love that fall will soon be here. The colors always amaze me and fill me with such joy because once fall is over it's winter and that's my favorite time of the year. I'm so glad God gave us seasons, aren't you. Hugs
