Quilt Pictures

Here is another beautiful quilt heading off to Colorado.  I hope those of you who don't feel you can give up one of your stashed quilts, will give a few moments to think that while you may not know these men and women in Aurora, they serve you in your cities, towns and counties as well.  They are the voices of calm and peace in the middle of the night to a confused senior, a scared child, a father having to deliver his first child on the roadside.

Men and women who love their jobs and give up much to serve us, you their communities.  They leave their homes at night to go to work while their families and our families are tucked snuggled in bed.  Many times they miss the things their families are doing because they are dedicated and fill in when co-workers are sick or need time off.

They are the officers whose families hug them good-bye and never know if they are coming home, or the fire fighter who goes into a burning home for a cat, a dog or a family member without thinking they could lose their lives, they give theirs to help us.

You may not know them, but they care about you and I believe we can show them how much we care!  Thank you to those who are stepping up, but I know there are more out there, don't let these people down, they need to know we care!

And this one came in this morning.  Wonderful person has made 3 in the past 24 hours!
I am so amazed!
