A Beautiful Face In the Midst of Tragedy

Granite Mountain Hotshots lost 19 members in a fire in Yarnell in June of this year. The families they left behind were their moms, dads, sisters, brothers, children and as this picture shows, their wives and some of them with child.

This is Roxanne Warneke, Billy Warneke's wife and she is expecting their first child very soon.  I wanted to share with you a picture of why I ask for quilts, why I quilt for these people and why I know you do.

I wanted to show you that even in the midst of tragedy, there is hope and I wanted to share with you a picture of that hope!
