LG Washer, Impossible To Find

Dear LG:
After reading site after site of the reviews on your:
5.2 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Mega Capacity High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer, my husband and I went to look at one.
Imagine our disappointment as we traveled from Sears, to Home Depot, to Best Buy to a local appliance dealer and NOT one of these retailers had this model on their floor.
Each time we heard the same excuse, 'our stores are not large enough to carry every model,' and yet they carry several of the same models in different colors.
The sales person at Sears was so nice after making us wait for almost 30 minutes and told us we could just purchase the Kenmore Elite made by LG for another $800 more.  We politely declined.
If you insist on seeing the LG, you can drive 75 miles to our warehouse and ask to see one.  Once again, we politely declined.
We know the washer is a good one because we have talked to people who own them, talked to appliance repairmen who tell us they are great and the reviews are stellar.
With this in mind, I would like to know why it isn't possible for you to at least stock one of these models in an area where we would be able to actually see it, touch it and decide before we buy.

Respectfully,

A Sad Consumer

I know stores don't keep large items in stock anymore. For that matter you are lucky if you can find more than 1 pair of kids jeans in stock in the size you are looking for, but it seems an injustice to the consumer to not at least be able to see before we buy!
