Covergirl Outlast Lipstain Coupon Giveaway

I applied this lipstain this morning and I can tell you it is amazing! It goes on smooth and easy, doesn't feel wet or greasy and when it dries, it doesn't come off and it lasts all day. The only thing I wish I would have done, was perhaps to apply it a bit heavier, but this stuff is well worth the money!

It isn't high glossy or even glossy and it doesn't have glitter in it. I don't know about many of you, but I am seriously way past the sparkly lipstick age. This is just a nice coat of color and if you wish to use gloss over it, you can.

A Positive Check-up

Wow! We spent most of the day in Olympia today at my physicians office and the orthotics/prothetics place for a new brace fitting. Woo Hoo, I have lost some weight so now need a new brace! My goal is to try and lose at least 15-20 pounds between now and the last week of August when I go back for my check up and new Xrays.

Here is what my doc said: " I am so proud of how well you are doing, you went home 4 days post-op and that is virtually unheard of with my patients and look at you, I am so proud you are up walking around. Funny, she should be proud of the work she did, because without her God guided hands, I wouldn't be doing so well.

I got my stitches pulled out and steri-strips applied, I can now take a much desired shower as long as we keep the steri-strips covered up.

Alas, I am stuck with my brace for the next at least 6 weeks, so we had to go to have it adjusted. I have lost enough weight during this process, that I needed to go down one full size, however, since they didn't have it, they showed me how to tighten it up and they will be mailing me a new one!

I am blessed and I owe my fast healing to Our Lord and Savior in Heaven for without Him, none of this would be possible, the great comments and positive energy that everyone has sent my way, good thoughts, positive comments, prayers, all things work together and I am blessed and looking forward to an even more terrific recovery!

Not a New Name Yet

For all those who contributed to help me rename my blog...I still haven't come up with anything yet. Many of the wonderful names you threw for me were so wonderful and well thought of, that they are already listed as a .com or .org so that left me out of several wonderful choices.

Several of you offered names and didn't even want to win a prize, thank you for always standing in my corner.

I haven't listed any names yet because I haven't found that perfect name to fit my blog. I will be randomly choosing 3 names for those of you who gave me names to win a Jesus is my spotter package.

The Quilting Itch

But they just make me want to sit down at my machine and quilt away for Christmas.

I love all the blogs I watch and truly you are all inspirations to me and when I get a chance to sit for a bit, I will catch up on what everyone is doing. However, for the moment I can only sit for a few minutes here and there.

Almost Human Again

Hubby took me for a walk last evening around by the river and it was perfect weather for it. Not to hot and not to windy. Then I got my lip waxed and hair cut. I almost feel human again.

I am missing my quilting terribly and tired of being in bed all the time, but I can still only sit up for about 15 minutes at a time and then back to bed.
